“A Cheap Way to Stay”; Oct 29, 2012 Jeffrey B, Decatur; The room and service were fine for a quick stop along the way. The free breakfast was very limited and not well stocked for later use. There is a strange "safe" charge that is automatically added to your bill and you need to have removed or you pay the fee. I should not have to ask for a service I did not request to be deleted from my bill. This was also the case for a Madison motel so I do not know if this is a standard practice that is being forced on guests.

We are glad you had a good stay. We are working on adding things to our breakfast. As for the safe charge you actually are informed about it at check in and asked to initial for it. If you are not going to use it then you can say that you are declining the safe and it will be deleted right away. « hide
