“nightmare beyond words”

The rooms were nice enough, clean, fairly comfortable but the wifi only worked about 10% of the time, I spent more time asking the front desk people to reset the router than I did anything else the entire weekend. They kindly moved me to another room but I had the same problem there. the remote control in my first room didn't work, the very polite, sweet front desk lady brought me another remote but that one was hard to work, I had to get right up close to the tv and raise my arm up just to change the channel, I might as well have just changed it on the tv itself. The phone in the room was crackly and hard to hear the person on the other end, I got trapped in the elevator twice because the door wouldn't open. I feel rather ripped off quite frankly and will not be staying with Microtel again. If they cannot maintain their equipment any better than this, I don't want anything to do with them.
