“Pretty Convenient to Wisp Ski Resort”; Feb 21, 2013 Tina F, Washington; About 20 to 25 minute drive to Wisp Ski Resort. There are hotels closer to Wisp but Microtel had the best reviews and we were pleased with our stay. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was average but it was the staff that made our stay. Andy was on duty when we arrived late Thursday night during President's weekend. Somehow, I had booked 2 nights in the Hazelton Microtel but for the 3rd night, I had booked a room somewhere in Texas! Andy was very understanding and arranged get us a room for the 3rd night even though the hotel was full (since it was the long weekend). He also advised us to stay near Wisp for meals and then he proceeded to list about 10 restaurants near Wisp - with different types of cuisine and prices. I would recommend this hotel.
