Thank you for your feedback. I apologise if the hotel smelled of smoke. Our hotel does provide smoking room to our guest who smokes. These rooms are located on third floor of the building. If your room was on the 3rd floor you might have smelled the smoke. I apologise again. « hide

Thank you for your comments. I apologise if our hotel was hard to locate. Our trained staff would be more then happy to direct you to our property from any place in Beckley or the surrounding area. I apologise for the carpet in the elevator. During our renovation, the carpet installers didn't order enough carpet. We ordered more to take care of the elevator and the 3rd floor stairs. Today, 4/27/13, we put new TV Channels List in every room. Part of our renovation was to replace the old guest internet system with a new one. The new one is in place but having some technical issues that we are working on. I apologise for the housekeeping staff being loud in the hallways. After your feedback, I have spoke to them to keep it quite. Again thank you for your feedback. As soon as we recieve the new carpet, the elevator will be the first to be replaced. Thank you for your comments. Our rates are set according to competitor hotels in the area. The rates for this Microtel fluctuate based on the rates of the competitors. We implimented a new guest internet system, which is running, but still not 100%. We are working on the minor issues to make it 100%. We are in communication with the investors to open up the breakfast area. « hide

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise for your inconvience during your stay. We do not have fridges in our one queen bed rooms because the rooms for a Microtel are small. If we put fridges in these rooms then there would be no room to walk around in the room. All of our rooms with 2 queen bed rooms have microwave and fridge in them. As for the renovation signs, we are still under renovation. Still waiting on new beddings, curtains, and fabric for the chairs and window coushins. The WiFi is operational but still working out the kinks in the system. but it is ready for guest use. « hide
