Dear kim, thank you so much for taking the time out to give us a feedback on your stay. I did get your message this morning about the extra charges you saw on your bank statement when you checked out today and I personally went over your reservation to find the cause. It looks since the room was held on your credit card, the system went ahead and put a hold on the amount so it could be charged in morning when you checked out. Unfortunately when you paid in cash the authorization hold just sat in the system thus the PENDING charge showing on your statement. We will be releasing the funds tonight back into your account during our night audit and you should see those charges disappear with no extra charges. I am sorry you had to face this inconvience, but we have rectified this issue. Hello, thank you for taking the time out to give us a review. I am sorry you were offered a room that was already occupied. Rest assured it is not a comman occurrence at the hotel as our reservation system is very thorough with duplicate reservations. I will be providing more training to my front desk agents to ensure this is caught before the duplicate room reservations are made. I am very happy to hear that you found the room to be cozy, clean, quiet and very comfortable. It is a great compliment to my housekeeping staff who work hard day in and day out to deliver such a clean and comfortable rooms to our guests. Event bough our breakfast starts at 6:30AM, we still provide our early morning airport travelers or roadtrip travelers breakfast to start their day ahead just right. Upon seeing your review, I have personally held a meeting with my front desk agents and provided them With more training and importance of customer service in hospitality industry. I have also instructed my maintaince to perform preventative maintaince more thoroughly so this issue does not arise again. It is our policy here that if there is anything wrong or an unexpected issue comes up with the room at anytime during your stay, just inform the front desk and they will change the room and upgrade for free!
