“Longview Texas Microtel”

Very Disappointed. NOT CLEAN!! Soiled towels, toenails on the floor, Holes in sheets, Remote for TV didn't work. There were so many stains on the sofa we couldn't sit on it. No orange juice for breakfast and no fruit. Had booked for a 5 night stay. Complained to front desk and found out it was an independently owned Microtel and the owner was gone for 2 days. When owner finally came back he said our room was too dark and that's why the cleaning staff didn't see the pile of toenails to vacuum and they didn't see the holes in linens and stained sofa. He made no sense and very hard to understand. He gave us a different remote, picked up the pile of toenails himself and had the housekeeper give us new linens and extra towels to drape over the stained sofa and said he would adjust our bill at the end of the 5 days for our inconvenience. When we checked out he refused to adjust our bill. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
