“A night at the Microtel”

The check-in staff was pleasant and helpful. We witnessed a child's tantrum in the front lobby while registering. I mention this because the receptionist had to stop giving her information until the child was gone as we couldn't even hear each other. Turned out that family was staying next door to us. The children were running up and down the hall most of the evening. The adult and children's voices were easily heard both from the hall and their room. The walls must be paper thin. The check-out staff the next morning was terrible; he had no interest in us, or being friendly. Your morning staff should be reminded he/she is the last person the traveller will interact with. We were of no interest to him, therefore we have no interest in ever returning to this hotel!Our overall rating is poor because the guest room, breakfast items, staff, actually the entire stay does not compare to most of our experiences at other similarly priced hotels. Your sheets are of a very poor grade, the TV is very old. Your facility is at best average, but in our experience we think poor is a more accurate account of our stay. When we pay for accomodations, we expect quality and it just wasn't there at the Microtel in London.
