“Stolen Truck”

Our truck was stolen from the parking lot only 2 1/2 hours after we checked in and the desk clerk never saw it either out the window or on the surveillance video he said he watches. However, another guest on the 2nd floor awoke in the night to screeching tires and saw our truck leave the lot at 1:33 am (she checked her cell phone). Also, the desk clerk was not surprised, sorry, or sympathetic; in fact, very apathetic. This struck me very odd! Although we stated the # of guests, we were not provided enough towels or extra bed linens. We had to make 2 trips downstairs for these. The room itself was nothing special, but certainly clean enough and sufficient space. The staff was lazy, apathetic, and exhibited poor customer service. Knowing how to use the computer system does not make one a good Hotel Desk Clerk. I don't think the Wyndham's would be proud!
