“Not a good value”

I have been a Wyndham Rewards member for many years and every year we take a stateside trip and make every effort to stay at Wyndham properties. We just spent 10 days in New Mexico and spent 8 of those days in Wyndham hotels. Generally, we stay in Days Inn or Super 8's and have been very satisfied. This time we decided we would upgrade and stay in a Microtel Hotel since we had not tried one. After our experience in Albuquerque I doubt we will stay in one again. The beds were good and the room was clean but there was no coffee maker or hair dryer, amenities we are used to. We were able to get a hair dryer from the Front Desk but the first one we got did not work. The elevator was scary, it bumped and shuttered at each stop especially the first floor. There was a computer in the lobby but no printer so we could not print our boarding passes. We had booked our room for 3 days but every day we had to go down and have our room keys reprogrammed. This hotel was $20 more than if we had stayed at the Super 8 or Days Inn and we have always had a minimum of a coffee maker and hair dryer and in many cases a refrigerator and microwave also.
