“Not helpful at all and room had BROKEN WINDOW GLASS!!!”

I chose Microtel because we stayed at a Microtel in another city. This property was run down, with a dirty lobby and the staff was not helpful at all and gave wrong information, although the lady that gave us the wrong breakfast time was very friendly. The room itself was clean but I didn't expect the room to have broken windows! It's made me feel a bit unsafe. I was in town for an appt for my son. We were told that breakfast ended at 10 am. Not so. It actually ended at 9am and when I went out a little after 9 am to see what was being offered, it was being put away and the morning clerk said it was over and continued to carry away the food and didn't even have the sense to offer me anything. Se was very curt about it. I was upset because my son and I had driven across the state to make this appt and didn't have time to stop anywhere else and get breakfast. Overall I was very Unsatisfied with the stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. I wouldn't want anyone else to receive this treatment. Like I said, very nice woman checking us in. The next morning not so much. And the other clerk behind the desk didn't even acknowledge us. Poor, poor, poor customer service for the front desk, excluding the nighttime checking lady.
