“Nice Stay - but skip the breakfast”

  , Knightdale
Good - This hotel is off the main road, which is great for tranquility. The front desk area and room were clean. Beds were comfy. No odors. Not so good - Not sure if all rooms are painted kind of dark, but the room I stayed in (#301) was so dark and the curtains were closed when I first walked in. The light switch is nowhere near the door, so it took a minute to find it. Now, the lights are awesome once you know where they are...especially the ones behind the beds. I would just suggest they leave the windows open or one of the smaller lights on. Also, there was like a window seat/cot that looked pretty neat, but was dirty with what appeared to be stains. I used it for setting my luggage on there, but would not advise someone to sleep on it. Also, the chair in the room had stains all over it. If you're going to have light fabric on decor, have it on something you know will not be used often. My main complaint was breakfast. I've stayed in hotels enough to know that continental means almost nothing. Which is still ok...provided that all the items that ARE supposed to be there, are there. I had to ask for: plates, knives, coffee, creamer, and syrup. All of these items were either empty or missing all together and the empty containers were all over the counter. I would understand if the breakfast area was busy, but it was just me, my daughter, and one other person. Also, all the chairs were still on top of the tables, so having to take them down to get a table was something I didn't expect to do. There are a few eateries close by, including a Waffle House, which I would suggest if you're still hungry.Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again if I'm ever in the area.
