“Bed Ok but...”

We were just passing through on a return trip from Maine back to Georgia. The check-in was easy. We had a room with two double beds. The first bed cover that I turned down revealed hair and a 'stain'...we slept in the other bed that appeared to be clean. The room was comfortable. The bathroom needed attention. The toilet (especially around the base) needed a good cleaning. For a room with two double beds, there was only one face-cloth, one hand towel, and two bath towels. We did not eat at the 'breakfast' as it was unclean and not a lot of variety. Upon checkout, I simply left the keys at the front desk (I waited about 3-4 minutes with no one apparently around. I saw two other 'key' packages lying there as well so we were not the only ones to leave 'unattended'. Anyone could have come by the front desk, picked up the keys (which were in the holder so one would know what room they went to) and just help themselves to whatever.
