“stay there again”; Jan 31, 2013 Pamela M, Van Wert; check in was quick and easy, the girl behind the desk friendly, but the room was claustrophobic, much smaller than worth the money 1 queen bed, the shower didnt work just the tub. the lady behind the front desk in the a.m was pleasant, but her co workers were taking with guests who had a party the night before and they took up all the tables in the lobby , talking very loudly. the rooms are also not sound proof, stayed up most of the night listening to the people next doors tv ,we would probably not stay there again.

Pamela, I appreciate your response and do apologize that your stay was anything less than stellar. I did notice that you were booked in one of our smallest rooms, luckily all of our other rooms are much larger, so if you would choose to come back in the future there are definitely options. The original design of those single rooms was for the corporate traveler who only really needed a clean, fresh bed to sleep in and a shower, hence the name "Microtel". As for the shower, again my apologies, it actually does work. It is a newly designed Delta faucet that requires you pull from below rather than above requiring less maintenance. A call to the front desk and my staff would have been more than happy to explain how it worked.Thank you for the kudos regarding my staff! The date you stayed with us is one of our most popular dates for 2 large groups that come to this area every year. Many of them know alot of our staff and enjoy the opportunity to visit with them during breakfast. « hide
