“Nice location-but terrible service”

Where to start? First the hotel room & hotel itself were nice and clean. Location was off the beaten path, but close enough to everything without all the noise. Right down the road from the Air Force Base. Check in at 3:00 ONLY, do not show up early. They do not allow you to check in. Booked 2 doubles & room had 1 double. When questioned (as I paid extra for 2 beds) front desk told me they had a big bus arrive, so wasn't sure if she had 2 beds. After I told her wanted my $$ back, she found a room. Second day-no one serviced our room at all. We were gone at 8:30 AM and returned at 9:30 PM. When I went to ask at front desk for more towels, I was told that my door was locked & the cleaning staff couldn't get in, but we didn't have any problem getting in. Last night, our door key wouldn't work, so again had to go to the front desk. The front desk was not friendly at all. Never said a word to us the whole time we passed them. Very unfriendly. Breakfast was nothing but toast & muffins with only 2 tables to sit at, so if you wanted to eat downstairs you had to be lucky that no one else was there. Underground parking is nice, but the entrance door to the parking lot was open 24 hrs a day so I didn't think it was too safe. Like I said, if you don't mind rude front desk, the hotel was nice. Room had a weird smell to it also, but was extremely clean. We even had a window seat with some nice cushions that was nice, although it just looked out on the parking lot.
