“What You Would Expect”

In looking for a discount hotel room to attend a tennis tournament in Bossier City, I chose the Microtel Inn. The most redeeming quality was that the room and the bathroom were both clean, more so than some higher priced hotels. The room maintenance could be better. The ceiling fan in the bathroom rattled quite a bit, and the sink drain stopper malfunctioned. Of some concern, was that the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, which did not cause me enough concern to warrant changing rooms. Tried to make a pot of coffee when we arrived in the room, to find out the coffee pot did not work. Called down to the front desk to have someone bring up a working coffee pot, but was told I would have to go to the lobby and get it myself. A good thing was that the person that cleaned the room, had the drain stopper repaired while we were out of the room attending the tournament. For the money, it was exactly what I was looking for and expecting.
