My wife and I stayed friday and saturday night for a weekend snowboard trip at Holiday Valley. First off, parking space was very limited and we had to park next door to a Dunkin Donuts. I personally don't like to have to park at a different location because I feel like I am occupying a space for potential client (for Dunkin in this case). Luckily, I woke up early the following morning to prep our things to drive to the resort which was about 30mins away. The rooms were of decent size. I didn't realize they were the "suites". I wonder how small the regular rooms would be. For a cheaper type of hotel, I really can't complain much about the quality. However, the lobby carpet made it feel even "cheaper". It had noticible "wear & tear" carpet (old stain marks as well) that it didn't feel inviting. I wish the breakfast had some kind of protein selection like eggs, sausage, or bacon - options for diabetics / calori-conscious eaters. Other than these issues, the stay was good.
