“Not so great, especially for the money”

On a recent cross-country trip, we stayed at various hotels based on the ability to keep my well behaved cat in the room with me. Microtel in Bozeman was the only hotel along the way to charge for this privilege. It was also the most expensive hotel, even higher than the one in Jackson Hole, WY that we stayed in. While the room was mostly clean (used Kleenex found behind bed), there were not enough towels for the two guests, the breakfast was barely adequate and Styrofoam was the only choice in plates and cups. In this day and age, I expect everyone to be environmentally sensitive. I expect for $106/night to receive better quality accommodations and meals. Stuffing guests with carbs is not my idea of breakfast. While bad yogurt and hard boiled eggs were available, it was still sub-par. This was my first and last time staying at a Microtel.
