“Microtel Springfield”

Overall, you get what you pay for. Our room was dated and on the small side. Now I know why it's called "micro". The furniture had wear and burn marks and the chair had a stain on it. The shower was missing a drain cover, so you could see the inside of the drain pipe. The sink was chipped and poorly patched. The TV had to be turned on manually. I'm guessing it's because the TVs are old and required a digital converter. The front desk staff was great. Very helpful and friendly. With a little bit of updating, this hotel could be pretty good.
