“Heat register was not adjustable so it was too hot in our...”; Dec 18, 2012 , Huntington Woods; Heat register was not adjustable so it was too hot in our room. We wanted to have a cocktail when we arrived and the only glasses were little plastic throw away cups in the room. Fortunately the desk clerk was able to find us 16 oz. plastic cups after asking her. On the positive side we were allowed a late checkout without penalty which was perfect as we were there to play 2 hockey games so we were able to relax in between games,

Thank you for choosing the Microtel Inn and Suites, Kalamazoo! In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, we have recently installed motion sensored, wall mounted thermostats. We apologize for the inconvenience, but are pleased that you brought this to our attention. Apparently, some of the covers explaining where the thermostats are located must not have been installed. We will address the issue immediately to avoid any further confusion. « hide
