“Red River Quilt Show Weekned”; Oct 09, 2012 Kathleen H, Hot Springs; The overall appearance of the hotel was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Even though this is a non-smoking hotel, there was cigarette smells especially in the elevator. I would have liked to see more fresh fruit on the breakfast menu. The two gals that I traveled with were disappointed that the breakfast didn't contain yogart, eggs, and meat. However, the room rate was much lower than other hotels in that area. The train tracks were right next to the hotel. The train did come through several times. However, it wasn't that distracting. The drains in the bathroom needed attention. They drained very slowly. My traveling companions didn't care for the wall of mirrors over the beds. It was a little creepy. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
