“recent 2 night stay”

We arrived at the hotel on the 31st around 3pm. We then proceeded to finish moving my daughter out of her apartment. When we returned approx 8pm there was a crowd of people in the lobby and the entry area, loud talking, drinking and generally taking over the place. We went to room 122 and tried to clean up. The noise from the apartment above was unusually loud so I went up to ask them to respect the environment of common living, it continued and the manager went up to tell these girls about a fine that would ensue if the noise continued. The next day the morning was noisy due to the breakfast activity. We had another grueling day moving my daughter into her new house. When we returned around 9pm, the lobby was full of cajoling parents of the soft ball team, siblings running around, and we went to our room. At 10:20pm I called the manager and asked why the 'quiet hours' we were told about at check in were blatantly disregarded. She said that the group had just finished eating (although we saw no food when we went through the group at 9pm) and that she would ask them to go downstairs to the conference room. Why if there was a planned group activity, would the manager not require them to use the conference room to begin with. It took another 25 minutes to get peace in the common areas on the hotel. I would also like to know why the fire doors were open at all times? We would have loved to close them to avoid hearing all the lobby noise/
