“Extremely Noisy Room!”

We have stayed at this hotel (Quincy IL) multiple times. The last two trips have been very disappointing due to the noise imitating from the Ball Room, on Saturday nights. During this trip we were on the 2nd floor directly two levels above the Ball Room. The music from the Ball Room was so loud we could not sleep, and over powered the television. The wall that head board was on and the shower walls were vibrating. I complained to the front desk multiple times, and they stated they would asked to party to turn down the volume, which appeared to occur, however with every song they appeared to turn up the volume. After about 4-5 trips to the front desk I decided to contact the Hotel Manager as his cell number was on his business card. He offered to move us to another room, however, by that time is was getting late and the party was to be over within the hour, so we decided to stay in the room as we would not get to sleep any sooner if we changed rooms.WE were VERY disappointed in the last two stays at this hotel, and will be considering changing to a different facility for future trips to Quincy IL.It appears the sound is traveling up the pipe chases into the rooms directly above the ball room. My recommendation is to add sound proofing, within the pipe chases to isolate the sounds.Jason Given(M) 651.587.5027
