There was one serious complaint I have. If you took your car in for service, signed an estimate, had the service done, and found that the dealer had tacked on a car wash and charged you for it you would be unhappy for unintended "service." Upon discovering this, you were told that you signed a consent for service that had a little box already checked for a car wash. You didn't notice it until you paid your bill--having a kind of trust in forthright business dealings with dealers. You would be irritated that this little trick had been pulled on you. It was an unethical way for the dealership to get more money from you without being blatantly straightforward about it.It is unethical for Microtel to tack on a charge for a safe in the room "by default." ANY additional fees should be vocalized, yes vocalized, at the moment a customer signs for anticipated charges.You are engaging in bad and unethical business policy in this case.
