“Decent Trip”

Went on a solo trip for business. It was the best hotel to stay at for the price. My business was actually in Ellijay but I drove 40 miles round trip to stay here. The place was fairly quiet. I stayed an extended trip for a total of 14 days. A couple of days I had some noisy neighbors. The maid was decent at keeping the room clean. I didn't know what was expected of them but the bed got half way made some days. Another few days it didn't get made. The soap and shampoo wasn't always replaced when it ran out. The bed wasn't always made daily. Sometimes if it was made it was half way made. The light went out in my room and I pulled it out of the socket and set it on the table so the maid would see it and realize to replace it. The light was never replaced I had to get a light from the front desk and replace it myself. I had told the girl at the front desk that I had placed the light on the front desk and expected her to replace it. She said that sometimes you have to tell them or ask them for it to happen. I would think a truly attentive maid would put two and two together to see a light out of a socket on a table and take a hint to replace it. Otherwise the stay was a good trip. The place was overall quiet. The breakfast buffet wasn't very impressive. If you like processed unhealthy junk, it's for you. Overall it was a great trip and I would stay again if I was in the area.
