“Things Could Be Cleaner.”

Cleanliness: I really don't want to bash this hotel because my stay was "ok" for the price (65 per night) BUT our rooms (117 and 207?) had very soiled carpet...YUCK! and room 117 smelled like a hospital room. I bought airfreshener and kept the window open. So you might ask why didn't I ask to move to another room...well I originally did. When I first arrived I was assigned room 117 (right off the lobby). I was very tired and asked to be moved because I thought it would be to loud and that request seemed to be a challenge for the front desk clerk. Not that she didn't know what she was doing but as if there wasn't any other place to put me. Soooooo I took the room.Would I go there again...No...I don't think so.I believe management needs to spend alittle money and clean things up and maybe hire more staff. I had to walk past an overflowing garbage, outside the hotel, for about 24 hours. Yes it was Thanksgiving week but I don't think that should be an excuse.Hotel Staff: One thing I do need to add is the staff was very nice. I just thing they are stretched to thin.Complimentary Continental Breakfast: I wish there was some kind of fruit added to this.
