“Don't stay here”

thought this looked like a nice place from the photos and while it did have a few good points, overall this hotel needs a huge overhauling! Aside from the employee at the counter chit chatting with her friend when we checked in there was a terrible musty smell throughout the place. The carpet was old and dingy. The TV was broken in our room. The lighting was fluorescent strips above our heads and made us feel like we were in prison. The "free" WIFI wouldn't work and when I asked about it I was told that they were having 'problems' with it and sorry. The bathroom was dirty and there were no amenities like shampoo or bath soap, just those terrible little bars. The view out our window was of the back of the building next door so we could never have the window open for fear of employees on a smoke break staring at us. The 'free' breakfast was missing most everything including cream cheese for the bagels! The insulation was terrible and you could hear every little sound all night long. The good points were that the sheets and towels were clean (a deal breaker for me! ) and the shuttle to the airport was on time which was all we really needed. We had booked two nights but cancelled the second and opted for driving on home after our week long vacation late at night to avoid this nightmare again.
