“Wrong Room Downhill from there”

Upon check in we were given a room. The hotel clerk did not speak 3 words, handed a key and sent us on our way. We were rudely awakened by housekeeping earling in the morning who informed us that we had to move rooms because we were put in the wrong room. We now had to re-pack and move to a room on the second floor. The next day we returned to the room with an unmade bed, no cleaning and no towels! I notified the desk that our towels were taken but not replaced and was accused of having the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door. I asked the desk clerk to send some towels up to the room and she said they do not do that, you have to come get the towels yourself. The continental breakfast area was a mess with the guests making a mess with cooking their own waffles and spilling beverages and was not cleaned up in a timely fashion. The hotel managers were pleasant and tried to compensate in a small way. The key word would be Managers. It would behoove the Managers to get a better handle on this facility and their employees so that they could make a better impression and provide quality service to their guests. I would only use this hotel again because it is close to the area I was visiting. I would probably recommend it to a friend with a cautionary warning.
