“Not very happy with service!”

We checked in at 8:00 and paid with cash. The desk clerk said he needed a copy of a credit card and print out of a driver's license. He then refused my wife 3 times when she asked for a receipt. In the morning,the check-out clerk said he had no record of us having paid,with cash, but he would take payment off of our credit card. After an argument with my wife,he contacted the owner with what to do. He finally gave us a receipt saying we had paid cash, BUT we are still waiting for our credit card statement to see if they double charged us, or not ! We found this was not a very satisfactory way of doing business,and will have a hard time ever staying at a Microtel Inn ever again!
