“Frustration and disappointment”

Over-all my room was clean and comfortable. However, I was in a traveling mode not at my final destination and not vacation. Because my travel was not leisure internet service was very important. When I first brought to the attention that I had no WiFi I was told that the server was just slow. Then I tried to use the computer in the lobby but it happened to be not working and was told that they were waiting for a replacement. I tried to get WiFi, late in the evening but with no luck. I tried in the morning and still it was not working apparently it was not just slow but also not working. The front desk clerk stated he was on WiFI with his phone that it must be my IPad However because the breakfast bar was extremely crowed I went across the street to McDonald which had free WiFi and was able to get on their WiFi in seconds. Thank You McDonalds I was able to get some work done that I should have done the night before. When I returned the breakfast bar was closed and everything removed. The coffee was still there but I poured some and it was ice cold. I went down stairs to check out but needed a cab called. The front desk did try to call but was unable to. I was then directed to return to my room to keep trying to call. After I went up stairs I needed to find a maid to let me into my room. I called and made arrangements but at exactly 1100hrs the maid returned to clean the room. I went down stairs to wait and then needed to call back. I never was offered a late check out which may have come in handy since I was in the lobby for over an hour waiting for a taxi. While I was waiting for a cab I noticed 5 customers checking out late from their rooms some as late as 12:15 and then my cab arrived so I was able to leave. My favorite experience of my stay.
