“whoop!”

  , Pittsburg
I checked this hotel out Thursday night before I left town, and also had another one in mind that would not reserve a room for me. So I decided to chance it. The other hotel was booked up so I went to the Microtel to get a room after driving for 2 days (it was now Saturday). They had changed their rates ($300 per week) in the two days since I had checked, and pulled the price from online. I wasn't able to get a hold of the manager to negotiate a different deal. As I am going to be here for a while I was checking Craigslist for an apartment to stay in. There was an add for an apartment going for $595 per week, turns out it was at the Microtel. Also I get up pretty early in the morning for work and had to leave the hotel by 6 A.M. That is the same time that breakfast get served, Other than the price gouging everything else seemed pretty nice. I didn't really get to check out any of the facilities other than the room.
